Congratulations!! Four classes walked along with Green Team members for the World Record Walk day today! WRW, in association with International Walk to School day, was an attempt for communities to simultaneously walk together for 1 km.
Ontario hopes to break the record set by Australia last year.
Our next week's meeting will be Thursday, Oct. 11 at lunch.
Please bring your litterless / boomerang lunch to room 309!

Lauren- Thanks a lot Ms.Reinsalu for organizing the World Record Walk. Most of the class had a lot of fun, and they helped the enviornment and picked up a lot of litter.

I think that The Green Team is a very good idea and that all the schools across Canada should have the oppertuinity to have a Green Team because it help the planet alot. Doing the Walathon was great we supported walking places instead of driving, and we also helped the planet by picking up garbage along the way. Keep itup Green Team!

Rohil-Kool thing we went around the school for 1 km t obeat Astralia. I hope we beat them so we'll be number 1.

Alistair-I think its great that we went for the enviroment walk to get other people to walk to school and not to drive, so there is les pollution and i think people shouldn't drive to shool if they live close, tthey should walk because its good for you and the earth.

I think that the world record walk was fun and good for the environment, and it was great excersice too but it would of been better to go more times around, and i think that it was really great fun to walk around but it would have been way better if we went around lots more times! I hope we will do it again and soon!

I think that making a greenteam club is a GREAT idea! beacuse this way we could start to help out the inviorment more. If this becomes great sucess then, hopefully this will spread around the world! Again hopefully other schools will be doing the same and we will have a non-polluted and litterless world.

Thank you for organizing the World Record Walk Ms.Reinsalu, i think we all did an awesome job!! We encouraged a lot of people to help the enviorment. The best part was seeing our communtiy helping out as well! :D

i love this site, thx miss reinsalu fr arranging the green team. now on weekends i help the environment by taking the ttc to mall instead of a car,clean up garbage that i see around and alot more jst cause i wanna help the world become a better place...(:

I think that the world walk event was fun because were doing something to cange other people into doing it.

I think tronto whould cange people becouse it is something good to do for the community and i wish we can do this again next time even more then what we did naw.
the world record walk was so fun and i hope we do it again and it was so much fun to do and we are tryng to set a world record and get it to the guiness world records book and it will be so much fun to do it again and if we do i hope we have twice the amount of people and that would tbe so cool. doing the world record walk will bring so much fame to milne valley, toronto and even canada and the neighbourhood.

I was pleased with the WRW. It was very well organized and done. Although I think this activity could be improved to be more helpful to the enviroment.
Imagine how much we could do if all the people in Canada acted, we could prevent all that litter! I think it should be a national holiday.
